We are planning to come during the summer season. As we were planning for honeymoon in Goa in June. But we searched many websites and they say that is not good time to visit Goa in that period. It hot and humid there all time.
Is it right that it’s that bad that we should not visit that time. We want to go Goa but now confused whether to plan or not ?

Kindly suggest and revert for your side.

I never visit Goa but i heard so much about Goa and its beaches from my friends. The only thing i need is some days off from my office. Please tell me how many days leave should i take for a perfect tour to Goa.

    Ankit Bugyal Says

Me and my friends visited Goa in the just before the monsoon season with light rain on some days. The greenery was alive at that time. The liquor is dirt cheap in Goa, so can’t complain. It was amazing place to be at that time with less of the crowd and more of the serene atmosphere and beaches. If one prefers partying and dancing, I recommend to visit Goa in December-January. North Goa has all the must see places. Chapora Fort has a great scenic view and Calangute is all time favorite location for water sports.

    Ankit Says

This was my first visit to GOA. As we all our friends enjoyed in calangute beach. Which was wonderful…. we spent the whole day on the beach & we had our food in shacks…. it was very spicy especially the Crab… i would suggest to any of the families or a couple that a holiday in GOA is going to be a memorable & Enjoyable one.

    cheers, pod.

    Ajay Bhatt Says

Goa is a delightful place to be with friends, and that is what I did. You need atleast 3 days if you only want to be at the beach, and a week or so, if it is your first time and you want to tour around the city, the fort, and the churches as well.

    Anshu Kumar Says

Goa is a real place in India and i felt only destination favorable for we foreigners here. Overall the destination is amazing and beyond my expectation specially the beaches and food. I love goa , will surely come again!!

    Marshall Says

Goa the most Romantic destination in India, full of beaches. Palolem beach is one the best and cleanest beaches you can find in India. The water is so clean that you can see small fishes very clearly. The beach has a very good view many small mountains are there. The Basilica of Bom Jesus is an impressive structure, both inside and out, being constructed of porous red stone found locally. It’s so calm and quiet you can sit inside the church for long hours and feel the serenity, against the hustle and bustle of Goa, this is such a welcome difference. Even had a life time experience visiting Dudhsagar fall, bike ride along the railway track, crossing water, road full of mud it’s like a dirt racing. Goa is full of amazement. We took sunset cruise on woof woof. We had an awesome time there were some fat tunes playing and a great bar. The experience was awesome. It was wonderful to see it in a different light. Go Goa and enjoy the funs!

    Deepak Bisht Says

We visited Goa during December 2011 in a group of 3 couples and I must say Goa is a heaven for honeymooners. One of my friend was on his honeymoon and another was on his first anniversary. We have been to almost all the famous beaches and churches in Goa. Among all the beaches Baga, Calangute and Majorda beaches were the best to hangout, enjoy beach sunset, drinks, food, water sports and beach activities…

    Some tips
    – Don’t waste too much time in visiting churches or spice plantation
    – Spend more on beaches with your loved one
    – Stay at a good hotel or resort close to the beach, it will save you lot of time and money spent on taxis
    – Eat and drink in shacks on the beach.. u might experience free performance from various local bands
