Delhi to Goa By Road

Delhi to Goa distance by road is about 1994 kilometers which passes throught number of states and national highways of India. Though it is not the best way to reach Goa from Delhi, but many adventure lovers still try it. Road trip from Delhi to Goa is a very tiring journey and will take about 2-3 days to reach if you just want to reach Goa without any sightseeing in middle. You need to drive atleast 600 -800 kms a day to reach Goa in 3 Days. So without saying it goes that road trip are only for adventure lovers.

A Complete Guide For Delhi to Goa By Road

There can be number of routes to reach Goa From Delhi by Road. Two of the best routes by raod are –

1 – Delhi-Jaipur-Jodhpur-Mumbai-Pune-Belgaum-Goa
2- Delhi – Gwalior – Guna – Indore – Nashik – Thane – Goa

If You want to enjoy the beauty of amazing western ghats than you can take NH17 from Mumbai to Goa. But this will be time consuming , so if you have enough of time than you can prefer going by NH17 from Mumbai.

Direction For Delhi to Goa Road Trip

Drive from Guru Harkishan Marg and Balbir Singh Sidhu Marg to Indira Colony (7 Kms)

Now From Delhi You Need to Drive from NH8, NH 79A, NH 79 and NH 3 to Maharashtra (1,167 Kms)

In Delhi Reach Dhaulakuan And Catch Up NH8

NH8 Will Pass through Jaipur and Before Reaching Kishangarh there is a deviation to NH 79A. Catch Up NH 79A Highway.

In Between Dilwari and Nasirabad NH 79A will become NH 79. Follow this NH 79 highway.

NH 79 will pass through Mandsaur and Ratlam. When you reach Manpur it will intersect into NH3.

Follow NH3 highway which will pass through Sendhwa, Shirpur, Dhule, and will be passing through Malegaon.

So before Reaching Malegaon via NH3 highway when you enter Chandanpuri , Move Left to Solapur – Dhule National Highway. You dont have to go to Malegaon.

This highway in between will also called as Manmad Road than Kopargaon – Yeola Road and than will meet Shiridi Highway.

This is NH 160 Highway . It will lead you to Shiridi, Rahuri, Nagapur,Vilad.

Just After Reaching Vilad just go 1-2 km more on NH160 take Ahmednagar Bypass Road and Leave NH 160.

Continue riding this road and after reaching Arangaon it will meet with Shrigonda Road which is Maharashtra State Highway 10. Take right and continue to Shrigonda Road MH10.

You Will Pass through Kolgaon, Madhe Vadgaon, and Sonwadi.

On reaching Sonwadi You need to divert to Daund Patas Road and leave State Highway 10.

On Reaching Patas take right to Akluj Phule Road or NH65 and continue till Kedagaon.

On Reaching Kedagaon take left to Shirur Satara Road and continue which will meet up in State Highway 61.

On reaching Lonad it will be also called by the name of Old Phaltan Road. Continue on this Shurir Satara Road aka State Highway 61 to NH4 in Vanvaswadi.

Continue on NH4 to Dharbandora . Than take slight left onto NH4 then Turn left onto Khanapur Rd. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bachi – Raichur Hwy/Khanapur Rd/Panjim-Belgaum Rd.

Continue to follow Khanapur Rd/Panjim-Belgaum Rd. Go through 1 roundabout and Pass by Arati medicare (on the right in 1.4 km).

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto NH 4A.Go past the petrol_station (on the right in 26.0 km) .

Turn right towards Rumewadi and travel for about 34 Kms. After which you need to turn right on NH4A which is Panjim Belagum Road.

And travel for about 33 km till you get NH 66 . Continue on NH66 to your destination in Rumbrem in Goa.
