Jim Corbett National Park is located in Uttarakhand and is one of the oldest national parks in the country. Sundarbans has a large number of Royal Bengal Tigers. Located in West Bengal, this National Park is covered by dense rain forest. It is basically a Tiger Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve. It shelters a variety of bird, reptile and invertebrate species, including the salt-water crocodile.

Periyar National Park lies in the middle of a hilly area of the Cardamom Hills. Around 70% of the area is well covered by evergreen or rain forest. It is home to the biggest snake in India, the Giant King Kobra. Periyar is also a Tiger Reserve with an estimated 53 tigers. You can also spot a few elephants in this National Park.

Bandhavgarh National Park Located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. It has the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers Known in the world. Hemis National Park Is located in Ladakh region of J&K. This is the only national park which contains largest protected area in India. Ranthambore is located in Eastern Rajasthan and is nestled between the Aravali Hill ranges and the Vindhyan plateau. Spread over an area of area of 1,334 sq km, this national park is home to a number of Royal Bengal Tigers. It is also been named a Heritage Site due to the presence of ruins of the fort within the park.
