Jaisalmer has extreme climatic conditions as it is a desert region. Summers begin in the month of April and last till October. The temperature of Jaisalmer during these months are around 44ºC during day and 25 ºC at night. Winters begin in November and end in February. The temperature during the day may go up till 24 ºC and that during the night may get down to 5 ºC.
