National Greenland Museum

The museum has many articles related to archaeology, history, art, and handicrafts and also has information about ruins, graveyards, buildings etc. The museum was inaugurated in 1960.

Nuuk Art Museum

The museum contains a varied collection of paintings, watercolors, drawings, graphics, and figures in soapstone, ivory, and wood. The most important of all these is a collection of over 150 paintings by Emanuel A. Petersen.
