Shillong is a nice hill city. Ideally one can spend about a week in this destination visiting local areas like Barapani, Butterfly museum or the very good Don Bosco Museum, as well as plan day trips to Cherrapunjee, stalagtite cave at Sohra or Mausingram. The seven sisters falls and mauphlyang falls are excellent places to visit. In a all great place would love to visit again, it is good for short trips.
