Features: Stretching over 400 acres (including 2 miles of beach), the 230-room resort offers attentive service, quality cuisine, and seemingly limitless activities like golfing and horseback riding. What truly sets Half Moon apart is its breadth of activities it offers. Guests can swim with dolphins in the resort’s private cove, ride horses through the water, take tennis or golf lessons.
Accommodation: The suite at Half Moon resort featured tiled floors, ceiling fans and air-conditioning, which I didn’t need because of the ocean breeze. The suite offered a remarkable ocean-view terrace. While the suites had 32 and 40 inch TVs, Panasonic flat-screens are included in the Royal Suites only.
Food: Half Moon offers a number of different meal plans are available including half board, full board or the Half Moon Plan which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at any of our restaurants as well as all drinks both soft and alcoholic and house wines by the glass as well as a discount of US$20 off any bottle of wine from the wine list.

Accommodation: The resort offers 80 rooms which are chic and large with Balinese accents, but could use more light. Guests should request the 4 or 7 block, where rooms overlook a meadow and hills. Bathrooms and daybeds are highlights. Rooms are furnished with tasteful dark-wood, "Bali-meets-Pottery-Barn" décor.
Food: The Palm Grove buffet is a peaceful place for a delicious meal, but there could be more breakfast options. Lotus Leaf offers Asian-influenced dinners. Palm Breeze Bar and Grill serves local fare, and is open through lunch and dinner.

Though the resort is quiet, and the grounds are lush and well-manicured, it is still a large all-inclusive resort that doesn’t offer much intimacy. Couples offers some of the best all inclusive resorts in Jamainca.

Features: This resort have one of Jamaica’s most great wellness offices, a full administration spa, a piano bar, and a gambling club, in addition to free outings into Negril. The resort gives free transports and journeys to Negril’s principle attractions, similar to dusk at Rick’s Café or shopping downtown.
Accommodation: Elegant and modern, with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and iPod docks–a big step up from the rustic cottages at most Negril resorts. Free, fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an iPod dock are provided in each room, making them feel especially modern compared with the majority of Negril resorts where an old tube set and a CD player are the norm.
Food: From super-casual buffet meals and burgers at 4 a.m. to elegant dining, the food is great. Reservation requirements are minimal, but there’s no room service for lunch or dinner. The lip-smacking restaurants included in this resort are: The Palms restaurant, Patois Patio and The Feathers.
