Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Athens – Athens by Night tour
Meals: Dinner

Upon arrival in Athens, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Athens is a magical city with a glorious history. The enchanting capital of Greece has been the birthplace of civilization. It is the city where democracy was born. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through superb architectural masterpieces.
In the evening, enjoy Athens by Night tour with dinner and folklore show. The tour starts with a visit to the main Greek port of Piraeus, passing by the most important points of the city (City Hall, picturesque yacht’s harbour of Microlimano, etc). Following the principal avenues and passing by the , National Garden, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library and Old Parliament, we arrive at Plaka. Enjoy a short, pleasant walk through the old, unique Athens city to one of the popular taverns for dinner with live Bouzouki music and Greek folk dances. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Athens – Athens City Tour
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel.You will head for a city tour of Athens today at around 745hrs you will be picked up from your hotel by a coach. You will start your tour with a visit to Panathinaikos Stadium which was the cradle of the first Olympic Game that took place in 1896 a brief stop to take some photos. The coach then passes by the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace guarded by colourful Evzones, Zappion- Conference and Exhibition Hall, National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and then visit the famous Acropolis the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Later you will conclude the tour with the visit to the new ACROPOLIS museum. The new Acropolis museum is considered one of the most important archaeological museums in Athens and ranks among the most important museums of the world. For the first time ever all the surviving treasures of the Acropolis will be seen together in one place. Works currently held in storage or in other museum in Greece and all over the world are now together in the museum and close to their original location. The Acropolis museum main attractions such as votives, artifacts of everyday life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you. Another major exhibit is the remains of the ancient Athenian city that revealed by archaeological excavations on the site of the museum.The coach will transfer you to the hotel where you can explore the surrounds of the hotel.Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Athens – Olympia
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast at the hotel, Your day will start with a picked up at around 0745hrs from the hotel to depart on an exciting and fascinating tour. You will pass by NEW OLYMPIC STADIUM to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main venue. Then you will continue for the Corinth Canal where there will be a short stop to take some photos. Later, drive to EPIDAURUS and visit the Ancient theatre, famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to NAUPLIA for a short stop and through the plain of ARGOS, arrive at MYCENAE. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon, leave for OLYMPIA, the birth place of the Olympic Games, through cites of Tripolis and MEGALOPOLIS for a short stop. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Olympia – Delphi
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, and the altar of the Olympic flame, the stadium and the archaeological museum. Proceed to RION via PATRAS, cross the Corinthian Bay by the new bridge to ANTIRION. Pass by the city of NAFPAKTOS and from there on, along the coastal road to DELPHI, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon, visit the picturesque mountain village of ARACHOVA. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Delphi-Kalambaka
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, proceed to visit the archaeological site, and the MUSEUM of Delphi. Depart for KALAMBAKA via Central Greece. Stay overnight in Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by the METEORA Monasteries. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Kalambaka – Athens
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, proceed to Meteora to visit the Byzantine Monasteries. Return to Athens, passing the heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Athens
Meals: Breakfast
